to apply / Procedures Redhouse College of Animation has a straightforward admissions process.Our aim is to gain an understanding of your personal goals, interests and artistic aptitudes. We accept applications on a first qualified/first admitted basis - the date we receive your completed application can affect the date of your admission to Redhouse College.
You can apply in person or by mail to Redhouse College campus. Application forms are available at the school, or on-line in PDF format. Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to read and print PDF application forms. The Acrotbat Reader is free to download from the Adobe Acrobat web site. Application Form (pdf - 69KB) Along with your completed application form, we require a $75 application fee (non-refundable), which will be applied to tuition upon enrollment. You will also need to submit a pre-admission portfolio and be interviewed prior to acceptance into the program. In addition we consider high school transcripts, but they are not a requirement. Procedures Applicants are considered qualified when the application is complete, the application fee is paid and there is evidence that all admission criteria have been met (or are being satisfactorily met) and have been received by Registration Services. Applicants who are not admitted to the program may contact the school to attain reasons for non-admission. If the reasons for non-admission are due to over subscription, they may be advised to contact a Redhouse College Admissions Representative for information about potential openings in subsequent years. Requirement We do not require specific types of artwork, but would like to see a wide range of work. The following guidelines are designed to help applicants select work:
NOTE: Do not send original artwork in the mail, photocopies are acceptable. Include a self addressed envelope with appropriate postage, if you wish to have your work returned. We are presently
accepting applications for the 2008 - 2009 academic year. Applicants
who meet entrance requirements will be accepted based on the date
their application is received. Applicants will be informed when
classes reach capacity, and placed on a wait list for the 2009 -
2010 academic year.
